The North Carolina coach has the nation's top-ranked team — and the Tar Heels received a commitment from one of the top junior big men in the country.

WASHINGTON, Ind. --- Tyler Zeller announced at Monday's press conference that he has committed to North Carolina. "I just felt a little more comfortable with North Carolina," he told those in attendance. "They are the best fit for me."

Duke gets commitment from Tennessee guard

Elliot Williams, one of the top high school basketball players in the country, committed to Duke on Wednesday night.

Williams, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard at Collierville (Tenn.) St. George's High School, had planned to have a news conference today, but decided to go ahead and make his announcement.

"I got home and talked about the decision with my family and we all agreed Duke was the best place for me," he said. "I just went ahead and committed." (newsobserver.com)



Top 100 forward commits to Duke

Olek Czyz, a 6-foot-7 basketball power forward from Reno, Nev., committed to Duke on Wednesday night, according to recruiting analyst Bob Gibbons.

Scout.com has Czyz ranked No. 88 on its list of top 100 players.
